Johnston will have its ninth annual Kites on the Green Festival featuring giant show kite displays,
free kite building, live music, and quality outdoor time with family.

The nearby 1902 Simpson House museum will be open for tours during Kites on the Green.
This is a great way to learn about the history of the Johnston community.

The Simpson Barn
The Simpson Barn is a restored barn located at 6169 Northglenn Drive.
The barn can be rented for your special event. For information call the Johnston Parks Department at (515) 727-8091.
