Community Appreciation Christmas Open House
Saturday, December 16 from 2:00 to 4:00

The Johnston Historical Society will hold a Community Appreciation Christmas Open House
on Saturday, December 16 from 2:00 to 4:00 at the 1902 Simpson house museum
at 6161 Northglenn Drive, Johnston, Iowa 50131 (next to the Johnston Library and the Simpson barn).

The event will feature local Johnston school singers, children’s Christmas crafts and museum tours.

Coffee, cocoa and Christmas cookies will be served.


Museum Hours

Starting April 2017 through November 2017

The Museum will be open from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on the second Sunday of the Month

The Simpson Barn

The Simpson Barn is a restored barn located at 6169 Northglenn Drive. The barn can be rented for your special event. For information call the Johnston Parks Department at (515) 727-8091.
